As a past Mayor of the City of Hutto and a long-time state employee for the Texas House of Representatives now retired, I recognize the leadership and coalition building abilities that Diana Maldonado possesses. Diana works tirelessly to represent all of her constituents; be we Republicans, Independents or Democrats. I am proud to call Diana Maldonado my State Representative and urge your vote and support for her.

I plan to vote for Diana Maldonado because I feel that she is a strong supporter of education. I especially appreciate her accessibility and her responses to the various educational concerns of her constituents.

Representative Maldonado recognizes the power of the pledge struck by our veterans defending our nation. During her freshman term, she honored that pledge with an investment in our returning veterans and their families. Through her diligent efforts, grants have been awarded focusing on the needs of our returning warriors.

Tenacious, smart, sensible, caring and dedicated – Diana Maldonado came into Texas state government with a mission, rolled up her sleeves and got to work as soon as she stepped foot in Austin. In an age where the term politician sometimes carries a negative connotation, she bring a refreshing aspect to Texas politics. We not only need Diana Maldonado in Austin – we need more elected officials like her in Austin!

I have had the pleasure of working with Rep. Maldonado on several issues that impact our local education. She is very approachable, and always willing to listen and do what she can to help us provide quality education for our students. Honesty, integrity, dedication, and qualified are all words I would use to describe Diana. I am happy to put my support behind Diana and know that she would represent us well at the state capital.

This past two years Representative Maldonado has served Texas House District 52 well. She continues to impress me with her passion, hard work and ability to effectively drive the outcomes on essential issues. Her unquestioned integrity is a great addition to our legislature. She has truly demonstrated she is the right choice to be representing District 52.

I met Diana when she was on the RRISD School Board, where she was a much-needed voice of reason on a range of  issues. I am supportive of her common sense approach in the Texas House and grateful for the job she has done on behalf of Williamson County. She truly works for every person in this District and I look forward to her continued service to HD-52.

When I was in desperate need of help to protect my self and other homeowners against unscrupulous builders, Diana advocated on our behalf in the Texas legislature. During the 81st legislative Session, Diana fought for regulations on home builders and to help protect consumers. I cannot imagine having a better voice representing HD-52 in Austin than Diana.

Diana served and provided quality leadership while serving on the Round Rock ISD School Board. Her care and concern for the children of Round Rock and the State of Texas make her an influential State Representative.

If Diana Maldonado approaches the Texas House like she does the board position, we all will be better served. She doesn't have an "R" after her name, but instead has a "D." I know that I will cross over my party line and make the decision for the person who has demonstrated commitment.
